LaRoche Posay’s Call To Action

"SkinChecker" campaign centers on skin cancer screening process.

Having partnered with Ipsos to uncover sun safety behavior worldwide and where the U.S. stands from a global perspective, La Roche-Posay has rolled out a new call to action campaign. The SkinChecker Campaign is billed as a “new and modern” campaign empowering individuals to play a proactive role in the skin cancer screening process. La Roche-Posay has created a shareable video with dalmatians checking each other spots, urging individuals to keep an eye on their spots, and the spots of their loved ones to encourage men and women to get professional skin checks, and empower them to become a skin checker.

“Skin cancer is the only type of cancer visible to the naked eye and, if diagnosed early enough, 90% of melanoma cases can be treated effectively. Since 2010, we’ve been involved with skin cancer prevention and each year we look for a new way to encourage behavior change,” said Angela Bennett, vice president for La Roche-Posay. “With the launch of Skinchecker, we are urging the public to take a closer look at themselves and the ones they love. As a brand passionate about skin cancer prevention, we are always looking for fresh, simple ways to get this message to the public.”

La Roche-Posay’s Skinchecker can be found on the La Roche-Posay website in addition to YouTube and Facebook.
